Located in Beaver County, PA, Nala Marketing is a boutique marketing agency whose mission is “Connecting the Dots” for our clients through establishing relationships in-person and online. We do this through social media strategy and implementation, event marketing and management, and content creation. We walk alongside a variety of clients, specializing in supporting not-for-profit organizations.  Our team fosters a collaborative working relationship with ample opportunities for professional growth.

The role of the Social Media Marketing Specialist is to support Nala Marketing clients by executing the marketing strategy designed for each client, primarily through social media, including photography, video creation and editing, copy creation, graphic design, website updates and email creation and execution.

The Social Media Marketing Specialist will consistently provide a professional and team-oriented attitude, representing the Nala Marketing team.

Job Title: Social Media Marketing Specialist

Specific Duties Include:

·       Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment.

·       Degree in communications, marketing, or a related.

·       Working knowledge of leading social media channels, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, and GoogleMyBusiness.

·       Ability to demonstrate social media outcomes and KPI’s using analytics tools.

·       Highly professional and collegial work style, with the ability to work in a collaborative and constructive manner, and the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organization (including the Owner of Nala Marketing, colleagues we engage with during client work, and the clients themselves).

·       Ability to take direction and work independently.

·       Comfortable in designing social media graphics/posts.

·       Comfortable in filming, editing and posting social media videos/reels/tiktoks.

·       Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices.

·       Basic photography skills. Ability to be an event photographer.

·       Basic image and video editing skills

·       Graphic Design skills, primarily in Canva (Adobe Illustrator a plus).

·       Understanding of social media techniques and best practices.

·       Understanding of and ability to use Mailchimp and/or Constant Contact.

·       Understanding of and ability to use Squarespace and/or WordPress.

·       Understanding of and ability to use Canva.

·       Understanding of and ability to use Later or other social media scheduling software.

·       The chosen team member must have a reliable computer (preferably laptop), transportation, cell phone, internet, and access to social media applications.

·       Establish a positive working relationship with coworkers.

·       Attention to detail as we must represent each client accurately.

·       Maintain well organized paper and digital files so others can find quickly.

·       Demonstrate a reliable work ethic to get the job done.

·       Perform other duties as needed.
